There’s something that speaks volume about two women taking on the world together. Each with their own perspective to bring to the table, to further the development of the equine industry.

 From a young age, Kami and Kiera have been immersed in the world of horses. Although they have grown with their own identities, they were able to combine all the things they love about this industry to create a luxury brand that brings fashion, fit, and comfort into one piece of clothing.

This line was designed around functionality with class. Something that can hold up to the stresses of horses, the dirt, the dust, the sweat, to then be able to step into reality and still look and feel fabulous going out on the town after a long day at the barn.

Kami and Kiera had a love for horses early in life, with taking English riding lessons from ages 4 and 6 to getting their first horses, Bebo and Dually, at ages 8 and 10. They watched their mother, who also was a horse enthusiast, and fell in love with the glamour and classiness of the lifestyle. Kami loves that the horse industry creates strong minded women who are fearless. The go-getter type to believe in themselves and their ability to step into any role. She gives her mother credit for being that woman and raising two girls with the same mentality.

Their careers in showing and extreme horse involvement happened in adulthood. Kiera married a reining horse trainer who was able to support her dreams of being an athlete in the industry. Kiera is raising three daughters alongside her husband, to have the same passion for the western lifestyle. She enjoys being a part of a community that is still secluded. When talking about the connection she feels with her horses, one comes to mind named Beau who was a beautiful buckskin that made her feel free every time she rode.

Kiera’s love of the outfits, the sparkle, and the hours of dedication that goes into designing a beautiful work of art is what she loves most about showing horses. With Kami’s Dressage background experiencing the incredible fabrics used, they have created a masterpiece. This love for fashion has been a driving force behind the idea of the brand, Kami & Kiera.

With Kami’s love for the dressage lifestyle, and Kiera’s involvement in the western industry, they have found something that links both together. Kami had always wanted a Friesian stallion. She is now the proud owner of Kardinaal, a world champion Friesian. When asked what her favorite thing about him is, she states, “he is engaging and so expressive, I love that he acts like such a gentleman with a quirky personality.”

Kami is supported by her husband who continues to push her to be the best version of herself. Although he doesn’t ride horses, he does ride electric bikes. The two can enjoy the freedom of the outdoors and mix their passions into one as they ride side by side, one horseback and the other on two wheels.

Owning horses isn’t the only love these sisters share. Their passion for the outdoors and traveling has led them to incredible places such as the British Virgin Islands, Scotland, Australia, and many more locations. Their active lifestyle has allowed them to swim with sharks, seals, dolphins and build a love for the ocean. Growing up in Florida, there was endless access to both the outdoors and horses.

Kami and Kiera are adventurists with a knack for fashion. They have a profound love for the nature around them and the animals in their lives. The Kami & Kiera line is a beautiful mix of all the incredible qualities of the two, strength, resilience, and drive. With the horse industry being a melting pot of people with a variety of different backgrounds, this line is sure to fit in anywhere.
